Surabaya, 15 August 2024 – Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) received a visit from students from the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya as part of the student mobility program organized by the Department of Management. This program, known as the International Academics Business Visit (IABV), has become a regular agenda for the Department of Management since 2022.
In 2024, the IABV carries the theme "Sustainable Digital Revolution: Promoting Resilience & Adaptability On The Verge Of Recession 2024." This theme was chosen to highlight the importance of digital sustainability and adaptability in the face of a potential global recession.
A total of 26 students from Universiti Malaya were warmly welcomed by the FEB UNAIR academic community. The welcoming event was also attended by the Deputy Dean for Field 3 FEB UNAIR, Dr. Ahmad Rizki Sridadi, SH., MM., MH., and Head of the Management Department, FEB UNAIR, Dr. Gancar Candra Premananto, SE., M.Si.
In his speech, Dr. Ahmad Rizki Sridadi conveyed the importance of international collaboration in building global insight and improving the quality of education. "Programs like IABV are a golden opportunity for students to learn and adapt to global dynamics, especially in the era of the ongoing digital revolution," he said.
IABV 2024 is designed to provide in-depth insight into current issues in the fields of business and management, while strengthening academic relations between UNAIR and Universiti Malaya. It is hoped that this activity can be an effective platform for students to develop skills and knowledge that are relevant to the challenges of the current business environment.
