On December 1 2023 - Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, Airlangga University (FEB UNAIR) received a return visit from Assoc Prof. Dr. Norizah Mohd Mustamil, Director of Project Management Center, AP., Universiti Malaya. The strategic meeting was held with the aim of strengthening and continuing cooperation between the two institutions in terms of student and lecturer exchanges, as well as planning international workshops.
In a strategic meeting between Universiti Malaya and FEB UNAIR, they discussed concrete steps to deepen cooperation in the student inbound/outbound program. This aims to provide a more diverse learning experience and increase cross-cultural understanding for students at both universities.
Apart from that, the discussion also included cooperation in the field of inbound/outbound staff, with a focus on the exchange of knowledge and experience that could enrich expertise and improve the quality of human resources at the two higher education institutions.
The plan to hold a workshop series on Internationalization of Study Programs was also the main topic at this meeting. Both parties agreed to initiate a series of workshops that will involve industry experts and practitioners, provide global insight, and improve the quality of education in the fields of economics and business.
The meeting was an important moment in strengthening relations between the University of Malaya and FEB UNAIR, but also as a concrete step to improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia. Both parties are optimistic that this collaboration will make a major contribution to the development of science and educational progress in both countries.
