The 4th meeting of community service activities for FEB Unair Management lecturers, in collaboration with PUSPAS Unair, was held again.
This time the speaker was Dunga Dwi Barinta, SE., MM. New lecturer in Management at FEB Unair.
To dozens of residents of the Griya Khadijah dormitory, Dunga conveyed the importance of making SOPs. Business startups need consistency so that consumers also feel the consistency of the services and products provided. The participants were given several methods for creating SOPs which made them ready to develop SOPs for their own business plans.

Start-up or novice entrepreneurs often do not pay attention to the existence of Operational Standards. Not a few business actors are too focused on production activities. Finally, several other fundamental business activities such as budget planning and business financial reports, marketing planning, and determining business SOPs are less of a major concern.

Standard Operating Procedures or what is known as SOP is a system prepared to facilitate, tidy up and order business activities. Using SOPs will minimize errors or production failures, provide work clarity, and speed up the adaptation process. Therefore, establishing SOPs for the business you run will affect the company's productivity and efficiency.

There are at least five stages that can be used applicatively in preparing SOPs, including:
1. Mapping Business Processes
2. Prepare a Workflow Flowchart
3. Review flowcharts
4. SOP simulation
5. Determination of SOPs

The service activity on October 18 2023 aims to share material and knowledge related to preparing SOPs to prospective young entrepreneurs who are members of Griya Khadijah. "Preparing SOPs is the basis for structured business management by system, no longer dependent on synteny."
