An interesting event was held by the Management Department of FEB Unair for lecturers within the Management Department of FEB Unair. In order to build community and togetherness as well as build new enthusiasm to face the new academic year, human capital recharging (HCR) activities are carried out. The event which took place from 21-23 July 2023 was held on the island of the Gods, Bali.
Assisted by the Airlangga Global Travel (AGT) team, a visit to Bali is given a different feel. From the first day the lecturers visited the beautiful Bali People's Struggle Museum and a legendary restaurant that the lecturers had never visited before.
On the second day, July 22, events from morning to night, imperceptibly. Starting from a visit to Alas Harum which is full of photospot areas. Continue to the Kintamani peak area for lunch at a restaurant with a backdrop of Mount Agung and Lake Batur. Continue to Panglipuran Village which is one of the cleanest villages in the world and received the 2017 Kalpataru. In Panglipuran village, the lecturers not only took pictures, but were also given new experiences, namely learning gamelan and Balinese dance together. The event in Panglipuran village was closed with a durian party. The dinner was held on the beach in Kuta at the Beachfront restaurant accompanied by live music.
The event which was also attended by Professors, extraordinary lecturers and retired lecturers took place as expected as stated by the Head of the Management Department of FEB Airlangga University, "This Human Capital Recharging event is a form of Unair leadership's efforts to restore the enthusiasm of the lecturers who have contributed a lot to the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. So this event is designed to provide stimulus for new things for lecturers, which is useful for stimulating the right brain of the lecturers and togetherness for the lecturers. And there is no academic activity at all.
The participants felt this, among others, conveyed by one of the Extraordinary lecturers, John Hardi, "Healing..the word that everyone has been waiting for, both personal and employees. I personally don't need to be asked, happy or happy,, so I'm definitely happy bingits especially healing with senior ladies and gentlemen..wow I'm happy thok vokoke...the healing this time is amazing joz..."
Prof. Sri Wahyuni Astuti also stated that going to Bali was "fun". On the other hand, the recharging activity is an implementation of SDG point 3, namely building health and well-being (good health and well-being).
